2019: New Years GOALS!

Happy 2019!!! Let’s Do This!- THIS YEAR I PROMISE TO EXCERCISE AND MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES. I have a lot of personal, professional and family goals that I’m trying to achieve in 2019, but at the same time, I’m trying to keep them simple and realistic. Health is my primary goal for 2019 and I strongly believe that healthy lifestyle change will make each day of my year very productive. I always feel so inspired when I talk with my girlfriends about their dreams and goals as their New Year’s Resolution! So, I would like to share a few of my resolutions with you. There’s not a ton, but I really want to master all of these before I write down a huge list. So, I’m focusing towards my Health goals.
Health:
- Drink more water and cut down to soft drinks to only once a week.
- I strongly believe that in order to achieve any goals, we need to be on top of our health game. This Year, I promise to EXERCISE & make HEALTHY CHOICES. So, the first change I made in my lifestyle is to wake up and get going on a strong workout plan. And in order to achieve these plans, before I go to bed, I keep my active gears next to my bed. So as soon as I wake up, I change to my workout clothes. Then I pack kids lunches & as soon as I drop the kiddos to school, I workout and enjoy my Healthy Choice Morning, as well as their Vegan and Vegetarian POWER BOWLS. They’re quick, flavorful, well-balanced ingredients including proteins, grains and leafy greens. They come in various Vegan and Vegetarian options which is great for vegetarians, like me!
MORNING AS WELL AS THEIR VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN POWER BOWLS
Let me share a brief about the Healthy Choice Morning, as well as VEGAN/VEGETARIAN Power Bowls: They have bold and exotic flavor
combinations, including 10-16 grams of protein and 3-16 grams of fiber in each bowl. Each flavor features a combination of whole grains like red quinoa and whole grain barley, leafy greens like kale, chard and spinach, and proteins.
Pesto & Egg White Scramble is a morning POWER BOWL – Contains egg whites with white kidney beans and vegetables
served on top of steel cut oats, farro, buckwheat and red quinoa with a basil pesto
sauce topped with parmesan cheese.
Mango Edamame – A VEGGIE BOWL consisting edamame, mango & vegetables served on top of brown & red rice,
red quinoa and black barley with red wine vinaigrette topped with dried cherries &
sunflower seeds.
Cauliflower Curry – I tell Kuntesh that this is my quick PROTEIN BREAKFAST PACKED with lentils & cauliflower with chard, kale & spinach served on top of
brown & red rice, red quinoa and black barley with a spicy curry sauce.
These vegetarian/vegan, Indian-style meal doesn’t hold back on flavor. So many options mixed with Cauliflower, whole grains and leafy greens, including red quinoa and spinach, just warm in the microwave and enjoy!! They’re seriously yummy! Check them out here on HealthyChoice.com
Personal:
- Prayers: We have formed a habit of saying family prayers together each night before we put the kiddos to bed which I’m extremely grateful for.
- Date Lunches with Kuntesh once a week: May be some days we might just enjoy our Healthy choice breakfast bowls together! DATE NIGHT, seems tough, but we usually make time for week day breakfast/lunches (when kiddos are in school), whenever we get a chance.
- Be more patient with myself and others: This is my weakness. I am not a patient person. Whether I’m in a check-out line at the grocery store or getting my nails done, (I fidget the entire time and count down the seconds until I can get going). My Mom always reminds me that “Patience is a Virtue” and I’m trying to really refine that in myself this year. this year, I plan to enjoy those little moments and STAY CALM & CARRY ON!
Professional:
My professional plans to PLAN my work and WORK my plans! Being more productive and continue to grow/expand my blog, Fashionbeautydecor! I’ve created a vision board and am striving to make 2019 the biggest year yet! We have so many exciting things in store for you this year!! Ill have to keep an eye out for those healthy choice bowls; they look so perfect for when you’re trying to stay healthy but don’t have the energy or time to cook a full meal!

I used to love those premade meals in my school years and I haven’t used them in forever. You’re making me think I should grab a couple for my husband and I for the nights we don’t feel like fully cooking.
