2021 Stay-at-Home Valentine’s Day Date Ideas!
1. Valentine’s Day Breakfast
Who doesn’t love a date that doesn’t require getting out of bed, right? This might be an old goodie, but it’s definitely a great way to surprise them!
2. At-Home Spa
This would be totally me – candles, hand and foot mask, massage oil, facial masks and you can create a night of pampering for you and your spouse. Since this year Valentine’s day is on a Sunday, this might even work.
3. Pour a cocktail
Pretend like you’re at your favorite bar, turn on the music, and dance!
4. Order in Your Favorite Meal or Set Up a Nacho Bar
Ideally I’d prefer a restaurant meal or order in, but if you’re like me (i.e. avoiding restaurant meals), my favorite is setting up a nacho bar! It’s a great way to bond with your sweetheart and take a break from the traditional. If nachos aren’t your thing, try a build-your-own pizza station (which I have been thinking of doing for a long time now) or even a baked potato bar, that may be fun too! Okay, I want all 3 now..lol .. or Make it extra special by ordering a few dishes from your favorite restaurant!
5. Learn a Dance Together
Youtube/Google will come in handy here.. Search up step-by-steps on Google or YouTube and spend the night learning the cha-cha dance. And if you have kiddos, they’ll enjoy this one too!
6. Plan a Future Vacation
Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Just because we’ve been staying home, doesn’t mean we can’t dream of faraway places to visit, right?! This would be a great way to spend the night planning either a real or dream future vacation. Fingers crossed those dreams may come true in 2022. We have Europe on the list, which was planned for summer 2020 and obviously we had to cancel. So we are hoping that would be our vacay in 2022 (if things get back to normal, ofcourse)
7. Netflix and Chill
No better way to end the day with your favorite show or a movie. Don’t forget to add popcorn!
