HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC!
After the 1918 flu pandemic, supposedly to be the deadliest in human history and killed at least 50 million people worldwide (the equivalent of 200 million today), with half a million of those in the United States. It spread to every part of the world, affecting populations in Japan, Argentina, Germany and dozens of other countries. And now Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic! Earlier this year we had no idea, but this past few days have been crazy- Schools closed for at least 2 weeks, public gatherings canceled and social distancing and tougher guidelines announced by the gov. to slow the coronavirus spread and most of us are scared and anxious. All we need to do is calm down, don’t panic and just change a few lifestyle habits.
I personally will be changing up the content coming up in the next few weeks or even months, to help us all.. Mostly catered to what’s going on globally. First and foremost, we all have to shop for basic necessities. So will start by saying that a lot of people are hitting the grocery stores and warehouses and creating crowd outside and inside the stores. What my family is been doing is shopping online. I ordered my necessities on Amazon, Amazon fresh, Walmart and Target and I encourage all of my followers to do the same..
Things to SHOP to prepare your home for quarantine:
- Medicines: Go through your medicine cabinet and look for expired medications, and the medications that you may need during quarantine – Tylenol, Mortrin, Cough/cold medication
- Paper goods: Paper towels, tissue rolls
- Household items: Paper towels, tissue rolls, Anti-bacterial: Hand soaps and sanitizers: stock up unto a certain extent- you don’t need 27 bottles of hand soaps stocked up, just saying. Other people need to wash hands too, in order to prevent the virus from spreading. Running out of laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and dish soap, bath soap, shaving creme, toothpaste, etc.? Stock them up!
- Stock up your pantry: Think of items that have longer shelf life such as Pasta, pasta sauce, seasoning, canned food.
- Entertainment: Get some board games, card games, etc. to keep you and your family entertained and away from device time.
Hope everyone says safe and WASH YOUR HANDS!.. And sending lots of Prayers for everyone affected with this virus and the families. Take Care!
