Ladies- let’s pour a cup-of-liqueur, open our laptops and break out the QUARANTINE with a virtual girls night. Social-distancing may still be in full swing (for some of us), but there’s no reason why we can’t still get in some girls time. Yes, the restaurants are opening up, cities getting back to normal, but we can’t deny on the fact that COVID-19 still exists. My family & I still believe in staying at-home and so does our circle of friends do believe in staying-in! I’ve personally been missing out those girls night especially that I have 3 boys around me and sometimes I just feel like the want to have a girls chat time– I miss my girls! Most of us are pros in using Zoom and FaceTime for work, small groups, organization chats – and I started wondering – why not use this as an opportunity to pour a glass of cocktail – I’m totally into the DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur! So let’s throw on the comfiest outfit to hang with my girls & let the girl’s night roll in..
Here are some creative ideas to host a virtual girls night in!
Create a plan!
I’m all about planning ahead- put your thoughts on 5 things you want to achieve with the Virtual girls night Zoom call.. it could be playing a board game, watching a movie, a spa night, share a cocktail recipe (make sure to create an ingredient checklist to share with the other girls too), set a theme (it could be the color or outfit everyone should plan on wearing), sending invites, etc.
Send an Invite.
I know this might seem a little over the top, but we’ve all got a little extra time on our hands, and getting snail mail is SO fun if you have a pack of cards around, why not use’m?! Invite your besties to a virtual girl’s night. Tell them to make sure they have a bottle of your favorite liqueur (I’m going for the DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur and along with my fave snacks- (I’m all about popcorn with a movie), to pop on PJs (I’m going in with my favorite pink lounge set), and to join your Zoom Girls Night In!
Pick a Movie
Chat with your gals about what you all wanna watch, I personally opt for something like a suspense thriller kinda movie, but totally depends on your gals.
Share a Happy hour cocktail recipe..
I’d definitely keep something with a minimal effort and easy to find ingredients and make sure to share them with your gals ahead of time so they can plan on ordering them ahead of time. Am including some of the core items for a hassle -free cocktail making such as DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur, Jim Beam Black Bourbon, old fashioned glasswear, bar spoon, an ice cube tray to mix a Classic Old Fashioned Cocktail by using this two-step process of combining DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur in a glass with bourbon, stir and Enjoy! Jazz up your evening in an old fashioned night with a modern twist!
Dance!
If you’re getting tired of being a couch potato, try doing a workout class or some music and dance together instead. Shake it up!
Game On.
Try playing a game together! DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur works great with playing some classic board games.
Nail Itttt!
I get all excited about some manicure love. I miss those pretty salon nails before quarantine, ya feel me?! Lol! So while you chat, freshen up your nails! And let your gals know about that plan. This is something you can do while watching a movie and sipping the Old Fashioned cocktail crafted using DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur.
Just Hanggg In…
Honestly, if you don’t have a lot to time, just pour a cup-of-liqueur and have a great time with your girls Zooming or facetiming. Just talk, catch up, and be with each other! If all you do is talk on your girl’s night, that’s pretty awesome.
I’m excited to use this extra time to see my girls, even if it’s on a screen! I’m opting for movie, popcorn and DeKuyper Classic Ol’ Fashion liqueur, hehe. How are you gonna spend your girl’s night?
