GLAMOROUS LION/LIONESS HALLOWEEN MAKEUP LOOK!

Halloween is right around the corner and it’s time to get prepared, right? Today I’m so excited to partner with L’Oreal to show you how to create a Glam Lion/Lioness Halloween Makeup look using makeup products that you probably already have at home!

WHAT YOU NEED

All you typically need is a great liquid eyeliner to create the winged liner + nose/lip look, white eyeliner, eyeshadow in brown, gold and black (preferably the one that has great pigment), foundation, concealer, setting powder, brow pencil,  bronzer, highlighter and lipstick. If you wear makeup, you probably have all these at home. And for the hair, I’m using the L’Oreal Paris Colorista 1 Day Hair Color Spray. L’Oreal Paris products are super affordable and easily available at Walmart.

This look is super easy and you can achieve it by just following the 7 steps below:

The first step is to apply serum, moisturizer, eye cream & face primer

Typically I do my concealer, foundation and my entire face first, but because this eye look is so heavy, I wanted to clean up the fall outs before doing my face. I did my eye primer and then jumped right into filling my brows.

Next up, I used a brown shadow as an all over the lid color and used a shimmery brown shade as the crease color.

For the winged liner, I started off with a shape I would wear everyday and built it up for drama using the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Liquid Eyeliner.

While my liner was drying, I used brow highlighter directly below my brow bone.

Then, I took a white eyeliner and outlined the liquid liner on top, then applied the same white liner on the lower water line. After, I applied black eyeshadow using an angled fine brush and outlined the white eyeliner on the waterline. After, I used an intense gold color underneath the black eyeshadow to give a bit of sparkle to that area as well.. (now you can go a little dramatic for Halloween and apply fake lashes if you prefer). I’m going to skip the fake lashes and just apply mascara because I love L’Oreal’s so much!

Now I can clean up the fallout before working on my face.

Next, I applied my foundation. You can go one shade darker than your skin tone as it makes this look very animalistic. My favorite drugstore foundation is the L’Oreal Paris True Match foundation as it’s super blendable. And then, I used a concealer and blended it all together using a beauty sponge. After, I used the L’Oreal Hydra Perfecte Perfecting Loose Translucent Face Powder to set my concealer.

I used bronzer to create a contoured look and then the highlight (just as I would normally for any makeup look)

I created an outline using black eyeshadow and an angled brush so it was easier to draw on my nose and upper lip. I also added some random dots using the same black eyeliner above the lips. I finished off my lower lip using a L’Oreal Paris Color Rich Gold Satin lipstick.

I completed the look by using the L’Oreal Colorista temporary hair dye spray in gold. It typically lasts for a day or up to the next hair wash. It has tons of color options, but for this lion look I went with gold!

The L’Oreal Infallible Liquid Eyeliner came in a limited edition spider web stencil, so I wanted to incorporate it in this look – I decided to use it right under my ears using a black eye shadow and angled brush.
