HOLIDAY GLAM in 5 easy steps using minimal makeup!
As the Holiday season approaches, we all get busy and the last thing you want to worry is to get ready and spend hours on makeup. Well, I spent a whole bunch of time to test out which products would work best to get ready for a Zoom call, Holiday, parties or Wedding. Also, I’m using only 10 products including skincare and makeup and takes only 5 minutes to get ready.
5 STEP MINIMAL MAKEUP (& Skincare)
This is great for when you’re traveling too, coz of all the luggage restrictions on the flights lately. Anyways, I’ll jump right into the 5 step minimal makeup and to recreate my look:
1. Prepping the skin: Begin by priming your skin – I used Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, this is a multitasking product and acts as a Moisturizer, Eye Cream and Primer. And then I layered with the Elemis Glow Primer to get Instant radiant Glow!
2. Foundation: Once the skin is prepped, apply the TARTE Amazonian Clay Powder foundation all over my face. blend concealer wherever you need it.
3. Apply Blush, Bronzer and Highlighter: I love this versatile Palette from It Cosmetics – it has Blush, Highlight and Bronzer for a quick make-up and is convinient for travel too. The colors go well with any skintone. I go in a shape of 3 for the Contour using the Bronzer, and smile to find the apples of my cheeks and apply on a thin layer of a blush. Look for areas where the light hits on your face naturally to apply the Highlight. Apply highlighter on the high points of the face—the tops of your cheekbones, bridge of the nose and the cupid’s bow
4. Eyeshadow and Brows: Lately, I’m a fan of Shadow sticks for many reasons. They’re hydrating for the lids and I Don’t need to have any specialized skills to apply them as they just glide smoothly on the lids, long lasting and Don’t have to worry about falls outs. Colour close to the lashline with this metallic Shadow stick in Raspberry in the corner and Tarte Quick stick in rose gold in the center, and blend them using my ring finger and lined my lids using the other end of the Tarte quick stick in Black. Doe the Lashes, I Curled them and a coat of Wander Beauty Upgraded Lashes. For perfectly sharp brows I’m using this e.l.f. Instant Brow pencil to fill and define the arches. When you’re happy with the shape, flip over to the other side of the pencil and comb through your brow hairs.
5. Lips: Line your lips with a warm berry pink lip pencil like the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk Medium—you could stick within your natural lip lines or overline slightly to create the illusion of a fuller lip. Then, colour inside the lines with the pencil. Go over it with a light layer of lipstick in a lipstick of your choice. Ofcourse, I’m using Charlotte tilbury Pillow Talk Medium for this look.
Hope you enjoyed this post! And yes, my top and jewelry is linked too!
