QUICK AFTERNOON SNACK IDEA FOR KIDS (& ADULTS)
Now that the boys are back to school I always look for some snack options that are not only filling but healthy. I always struggle with my younger one’s school lunches. He’d barely eat anything at school for lunch. So I want to make sure to feed him something quick and filling that will last him until dinnertime. Here’s one option my kiddos love and I love it too. Afternoon Snack Idea for kiddos of any age!
– – Avocado Banana Toast

Ingredients list:
1 slice of Sugar free bread (you can use any bread of your choice),
1/2 ripe avocado
1/2 ripe banana (I placed a fresh banana in the freezer overnight and removed it out in the morning),
1 tsp Everything bagel seasoning or Asian Seasoning
1/2 tsp crushed pepper (Optional, skip this if your kiddos can’t handle the spice)
Salt and lemon to taste
Method:
– Slice 1/2 ripe banana (or plantains) and shallow fry on medium heat with 1/2 tsp olive oil until both sides are Caramelized.
– Add salt and lemon to 1/2 smashed avocado and spread on toasted bread.
– Then Place the Caramelized bananas on top
– Garnish with seasoning on top and enjoy!
